This conference facilitated a multidisciplinary and multi-perspective exploration of the identity, roles, and potential of Buddhist traditions in the modern world.
The event was held over several days and featured a series of both remote and in-person sessions at the Veneto Institute of Sciences, Letters, and Arts in Venice, organized by the Research Center with financial support from the Ministry of Culture. It was also sponsored by Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, the FISPPA Department of the University of Padua, and the Veneto Region.
