The Study Center is actively involved in promoting research in the fields of Buddhist and Contemplative Studies by supporting four PhD research projects at Ca\u2019 Foscari University of Venice, within the framework of the Doctoral School of Religious Studies (DREST).<\/p>\n

The project topics are as follows:<\/p>\n

Buddhism and the Environment: Historical and Modern Case Studies;
\nTherav\u0101da, Mah\u0101y\u0101na, and Vajray\u0101na: Texts, Rituals, and Practitioners;
\nBuddhist Contemplative Practices: Historical and Modern Case Studies;
\nBuddhism and Technological Innovation: Historical and Modern Case Studies.
\nAs part of the PhD program, doctoral candidates will engage in a period of research and training in collaboration with the Study Center, fostering exchange and productive synergy between academic resources and those offered by the Italian Buddhist Union.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
