Schonert-Reichl<\/strong>, one of the leading figures in the field of <strong>contemplative education<\/strong> and research on <strong>mindfulness<\/strong> and <strong>Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)<\/strong> in school settings. Her research explores how social-emotional and contemplative education programmes can promote fundamental human qualities such as empathy, compassion, altruism, and resilience in students.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop will explore the integration of mindfulness and SEL in education, showing how these practices can support students\u2019 <strong>emotional, social, and cognitive development<\/strong> and contribute to well-being and mental health in school contexts.<\/p>\n<p>The second part of the meeting will include small-group discussions and an exchange of questions and ideas with the speaker.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative may be of particular interest to those working in contemplative <strong>pedagogy, mindfulness<\/strong>, and educational applications of contemplative practices.
