Recipient of a PhD scholarship funded by the UBI Research Center, with the project: "The Intersection of Contemplative Practices, Spirituality, and Meaning: Psychosocial Effects on Well-being, Prosociality, Pro-environmental Attitudes, and Impact in Socio-health Contexts"

Dr. Ugolini's research explores the themes of spirituality in relation to end-of-life, palliative care, and perceptions of death. Her work includes a review of the literature on spirituality and the exploration of empirical tools, such as questionnaires and the development of a scale to investigate the vertical and horizontal dimensions of spirituality.
