Practices of Being-With Animals: Motivating Responsibility on Planet Earth

Animal life is a crucial component of both our climate crisis and the possibility for life to continue flourishing on the planet. In her talk, Janet Gyatso, a scholar of Buddhist Studies, will explore various practices – some inspired by Buddhist ethics – aimed at fostering attentiveness, recognition, and commitment to the perspectives and values of animal intelligence.
